OFF GRID FOREST ESCAPE WITH A CONSCIENCE

Hidden deep within a private native forest, Puketui is a secluded retreat designed for quiet connection and conscious living.

Just 12 minutes from Taupō and Kinloch, it offers an effortless balance of isolation and accessibility, where nature, design, and sustainability come together in perfect harmony.

Glamping on a

whole new level

Two distinct stays. One unforgettable forest escape.

At Puketui, each stay has been thoughtfully designed to offer its own unique experience, whether you’re drawn to the intimacy of Korimako Cabin or the playful, considered layout of Piwakawaka Pod House.

Korimako Cabin is a private, self-contained retreat nestled deep within the bush, perfect for slow mornings, cosy fires, and quiet moments immersed in nature.

Piwakawaka features bespoke adjoining pod cabins, separating rest and relaxation into two beautifully crafted spaces, creating a more open, social experience.

Both stays share signature elements that define the Puketui experience, large outdoor baths, covered outdoor kitchens, and private forest tracks, paired with thoughtful design and natural materials to create a refined yet deeply relaxed stay.

Off the grid with nature

Designed with a light footprint, Puketui is fully off-grid, powered by solar energy and complemented by modern, considered composting systems.

Spend your time as you wish: slow mornings on the deck, evenings by the fire, or quiet walks through the forest. However you choose to experience it, you’ll leave feeling grounded, refreshed, and reconnected.

"'There is so much to love about this tucked away gem. Fireplace, outdoor bath, nature loo...the best part? Its fully off grid. Luxury that doesn't come at a cost”
